About Me
Victoria Wade Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

HOW I WORK AS A THERAPIST
A relational and integrative approach
My training is in integrative psychotherapeutic counselling, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most supportive for you.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can begin to speak about what feels difficult or long-held.
I will work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
At times, therapy may include gentle challenge, always offered with care and in service of your goals.

Professional Experience
Alongside my private practice, I have several years’ experience working within NHS and private mental health services.

APPROACHES THAT INFORM MY WORK
Therapeutic Foundations
Psychodynamic Therapy
I pay attention to unconscious patterns and early experiences that may shape how you see yourself and relate to others.
Gestalt Therapy
I support you in bringing awareness to your whole experience, including thoughts, emotions, and the role of your body.
CBT-Informed Approaches
Where helpful, I integrate practical tools and coping strategies to support you with present-day challenges.

If you are considering therapy
I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. You may not be entirely sure what you need — only that something feels heavy or difficult.
If you would like to see whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This gives you space to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.
